The IBL 2025 playoffs will commence with the quarterfinals, or the top 8, which will feature the top eight teams from the final regular season standings. The matchups in this round are determined based on the seeding system, with the 1st seed team facing the 8th seed, the 2nd seed against the 7th seed, the 3rd seed vs the 6th seed, and the 4th seed facing the 5th seed.
Following a similar format to previous seasons, all playoff matches will utilize a best of three system, meaning the team that achieves two wins first will advance to the next round. In this format, the higher-seeded team will have the advantage of playing at home in the deciding match if the score is tied 1-1 after the second game.
The complete playoff schedule consists of the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, all of which will be held from June 28 to August 2, 2025. The match locations will follow a home-and-away system, taking into account each team’s seeding advantage.
