Wawancara Prabowo Subianto dengan Deddy Corbuzier: Menang Tanpa Menyakiti, Itu Harus Kita Pegang

Jakarta – Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, said that in principle, the victory achieved should not hurt others.
He stated this when he was a guest on Deddy Corbuzier’s podcast which aired on the YouTube channel @Deddy Corbuzier, on Tuesday (13/2).
Prabowo then quoted one of the Javanese philosophies, ‘Menang tanpo ngasorake’. It means, ‘Winning without degrading’.
He said this because he believes that there are still many people who do not care about others, just to achieve victory/success.
“Sometimes, Western philosophy is somewhat different. Because what I see, Western philosophy is that the important thing is success. It doesn’t matter how you win, as long as you win,” said Prabowo.
“In order to achieve victory for us, our side, ourselves, our family, (sometimes) we hurt many people. There is a Javanese philosophy, ‘Menang tanpo ngasorake’. ‘Winning without degrading (hurting)’. That’s what we have to hold on to,” he emphasized.
Prabowo added that with this principle, we will live without grudges against others. Life, he said, must have principles as embraced by the warriors and knights. They live by holding firm to the values of honesty, justice, and a commitment to help the weak and oppressed.
“If in the philosophy of the warriors, my teachers taught (me) not to have grudges. A warrior is brave. Brave to defend the truth, justice, honesty,” he said.
“Defending the weak, the poor, and the oppressed. That’s a knight. To defend, you have to be brave, but you must not hate and must not hold grudges,” concluded Prabowo. (SENOPATI)
