Indonesian Diaspora Optimistic about Prabowo’s Leadership

During his visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025, President Prabowo Subianto received enthusiastic support and hope from the Indonesian diaspora, including students. The Indonesian community in Turkey, represented by Maulidya Nur Islami, expressed pride and joy at the President’s visit, viewing it as a positive step for bilateral relations. Likewise, Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif were grateful for Prabowo’s personal interaction with them during the visit and anticipate stronger collaboration between Indonesia and Turkey in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki voiced excitement on behalf of the Indonesian community, inspired by Prabowo’s visit to continue representing Indonesia positively. The Indonesian diaspora in Egypt also embraced Prabowo’s visit, believing it will enhance educational opportunities for Indonesian students in the country. Overall, diaspora members in these regions extended their prayers and well wishes to Prabowo as he embarks on his new leadership role. Since April 9, President Prabowo has embarked on official visits to several Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
